Description Iacopo Spalletti 2005-07-17 01:47:46 UTC
asus_acpi module doesn't load in 2.6.13-rc3 claiming "Using generic hotkey
driver", even if hotkey module is not even compiled.

Distribution: Debian sid
Compiler: GCC 4
Comment 1 Len Brown 2005-08-15 09:33:14 UTC
does it work if you boot with "acpi_specific_hotkey"?
Comment 2 Iacopo Spalletti 2005-08-15 10:55:36 UTC
Yes.
Infact i marked it as invalid shortly after filing it, when i found the kernel
parameter in the changelog
Comment 3 Len Brown 2005-08-15 13:41:27 UTC
this should work by default,
and "acpi_specific_hotkey" should have been "acpi_generic_hotkey"
fixed in bug 4953
