Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur:
Distribution: Ubuntu Breezy
Hardware Environment: Toshiba Satellite L20
Software Environment: Gnome and Gnome Battery applet
Problem Description: Unable to fetch battery information. The message shown
every minute in the kernel message log is:

Steps to reproduce: Problem happens always with the ubuntu 2.6.12-9-686, also
with the mainline 2.6.14.1. Option noapic is necessary to boot the Satellite L20.
