Kernel_panic-screenshot

After compiling the latest kernel, when tried to boot, I get the kernel panic as shown in the screenshot.

Attached the config file & /var/log/messages.

Before the kernel panic, a Fatal error is shown, Error inserting dm_mod. Invalid argument.

Will post more details after debugging the issue.

When the same config file is used against 3.5.0-rc6, system boots up and no kernel panic is shown.

Steps followed

   make oldconfig (after copying the config file & renaming it to .config) and followed the rest of the default compilation steps.

Environment Details:

Attached is the /proc/cpuinfo & meminfo details.
