Software Environment:
Debian Unstable

Problem Description:
Trying to put to work a ALUMINUM CONSTAR EXTERNAL BOX Model: ST-2512B2.
It's a IDE to USB 2.0 adaptor.

Two problems (probably same bug though):
1.- If already plugged in with a Hard Drive (Seagate Barracuda 120GB)
shows the following during boot:

Steps to reproduce:
Problem 1: Boot with device already on.
Problem 2: Start device after boot process.

I have not seen anything in google about anyone having this
thing... maybe the information of this device is not in the
kernel yet??

Comment 2 Adrian Bunk 2006-02-22 15:27:18 UTC
Is this issue still present in recent 2.6 kernels?
Comment 3 Greg Kroah-Hartman 2006-03-05 15:24:43 UTC
Yes, please test a newer kernel, preferably 2.6.15 or newer.

If the problem is still there, please reopen this bug with the new information.
