I noticed that vt_do_kdgkb_ioctl() uses global variable to optimise func_table re-allocation. Even comment hints at lack of locking: /* FIXME: This one needs untangling and locking */ int vt_do_kdgkb_ioctl(int cmd, struct kbsentry __user *user_kdgkb, int perm) Could that be it? Will do. Can yo clarify mailing list? https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/MAINTAINERS#L15527 mentions no list. > (In reply to Greg Kroah-Hartman from comment #3) > > On Sat, Feb 16, 2019 at 07:00:59PM +0000, > > bugzilla-daemon@bugzilla.kernel.org wrote: > > > https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=202605 > > > > > > Sergei Trofimovich (slyfox@inbox.ru) changed: > > > > > > What |Removed |Added > > > > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > > CC| |greg@kroah.com, > > > | |jirislaby@gmail.com > > > > > > > If you have a kernel issue in the tty/vt layer, please use email and > > send it to the mailing list and maintainers that way. > > Will do.
