Created attachment 258833 [details] 8265 firmware with debug enabled Hi, Here is the firmware for 8260. Please copy it to /lib/firmware (I assume your distro takes it from there), you can backup the existing one before you overriding it. The instructions on how to collect the data are here: https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/iwlwifi/debugging#firmware_debugging Please take the time to read the privacy notice: https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/iwlwifi/debugging#privacy_aspects Hello, It took probably one week to perform this action. My laptop is last week crashed and sent back to the vendor. When I received my laptop back I will install the latest firmware. Great. Thanks :) This is likely duplicate of https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=197061 @bart, could you try a workaround of disabling the WiFi+Bluetooth coexistence, as discussed in the above mentioned bug? You can do it by creating file: /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf with content: options iwlwifi bt_coex_active=0 and reboot Sadly enough HP (the vendor of my laptop) told me that the don't have spare parts for my laptop and i did not receive back my laptop. I can choose another HP device. That means that I'm not able to perform the suggested action, because I don't have the hardware anymore. For now I suggest to close this issue. Thanks for letting you know. In case you get another HP device with an Intel wireless / BT device and you still have issues, don't hesitate to reach out to us! I have HP device with Intel 8265 and the same symptoms. In my case the issue is caused by https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=197061 |
