Problem Description:

I get these messages when I access a DVD or a CD in my Sony DRU-801A
drive when playing a video DVD. Mounting and listing contents works
fine.

This is affecting 2.6.15 as well on ubuntu.

Also, CD / DVD writing does not work.

I could write to a DVD+RW using K3b 0.12.14 on a default Kubuntu 6.06 LTS
release with KDE 3.5.3 packages downloaded from kubuntu.org.

Kernel is 2.6.15-26-386

I'm not sure if this was fixed by some kubuntu patch (I had tried with 2.6.16.1
earlier). I'll find out and update this bug once I get that info.

Leaving this bug as 'new' for now.
