Run the following command, cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/ One should see a prameter "temperature", But one does not. It looks like the thermal zones doesn't available on your system. No fan devices found in DSDT table you've sent as well as no _TZ entry. Your 'dmesg' says that you have 3 SSDT tables and 1 DSDT. Could you please send the result of 'acpidump > foo' command. It'll dump all the tables, so we could see the whole picture.
