Description Chris Zimmermann 2015-04-25 15:53:26 UTC
Kernel 3.19.0.15 (and also 4.0 and 4.0.rc7) cause the login session as created by Lightdm to freeze. Symptoms: keyboard, trackpad and external USB mouse don'T work, Macbook is not visible on the network. Symptoms first occurred after recent upgrade to Ubuntu 15.04. Kernels 3.16.0.33 and 3.16.0.34 work OK.

Bug was caused by heavily hacked version of bcmwl (6.20.155). Re-installation of the corresponding version from the Vivid repo solved the problem.
