Description Stephan Schultchen 2014-12-30 18:38:23 UTC
I am running a Dell XPS 13 which is connected to a Club3D CSV 5300 DP hub, which is connected to two DELL Display via DP.

The Problem is that the two displays are recognized as one big display. The same hub + displays connected to a Nvidia 660 Ti is recognized as zwo seperate displays.

The second problem is that when connected to the Dell XPS everything displayed on the upper left of the left screen is "shaking" and vertical lines are popping up & disapearing. Here is a video:

Here is a the output of xrandr from my Dell XPS 13 with the attached DP hub and displays. With the hub connected to my Nvidia, i see two displays that have been identified as DP1.1 and DP1.2

There have been plenty of updates to DP MST in recent kernel releases. Please try them.

If the problem persists with the latest kernels, please file a new bug at the freedesktop.org bugzilla [1]. Thank you.
