i have a Radeon X600 and the computer freeze. 
i tried the kernel 3.18, but i get the same result.
to freeze it take habitually a long time.

Does it freeze as soon as the radeon kernel module is loaded?  Only after starting X?

after starting x, that could take 1 hours...

don't know if there is a acpi for video card?
