Description John Scott 2014-10-26 16:06:25 UTC
When the lid is closed on my laptop (a Gateway NE56R), it causes the connection speed of the built-in Broadcom BCM4313 (14e4:4727) to slow down. Power saving is disabled and the system is set to do nothing when the lid is closed. This problem occurs when using the brcmsmac driver and when using Broadcom's proprietary wl and b43 drivers. This bug has been tested on Ubuntu and Debian.

Nevermind. It was a problem on my end.
