wirless failing with kernel 3.17.0-rc7 (see line 2596)

Wireless has been failing constantly as of lately. I think it started with the kernel-firmware 20140903git update. Failures can be reproduced with kernels 3.15.8 - 3.17.0.

I'm attaching a dmesg log for a failure that happened with kernel 3.17.rc7. The relevant portion begins, I believe, at line 2596.

In case it is relevant, I am using OpenSUSE with kernel-firmware 20140903git provided at:http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/HEAD/standard/noarch/

there is a fix for this in bug 56581.

Thank you Emmanuel.

I'm surprised that it's a duplicate of that bug. I've been upgrading kernel and kernel-firmware since 3.11.x and only very recently has this become a problem (with the latest firmware update I think).
