Description Dale Ritchey 2014-05-06 11:53:28 UTC
I downloaded the linux kernel 3.15-rc4 compiled and installed using sakc On boot severl apps did not work. including fire fox. I disabled pulse fire fox worked as it should. I rebooted and watchdog did not stop systemd shutdown reported that it couldn't unmount some files. I did a hard reboot recompiled the kernel using turbo mode rebooted and everything worked except for my Logitech webcam. recompiled the kernel and added the uvc driver
rebooted and had the pulse, watchdog, and systemd problem all over.
Removed the UVC driver and every thing is working again except for My Loitech webcam which needs the UVC driver
My conclution is that the uvc driver is broken.
