The disk isn't powered off before the laptop 's completely powered off. When the power 's cut, I can hear a little "tzzzzzzzzzzzzzzk" (not so nice) sound. Hi, I just searched bugzilla for a libata-bug and found #7383. (http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7838) There is a patch (I was informed that it is already on it's way into the kernel source) that resolves this issue.
