so it should be probably included in the blacklist?

do you need more information?
i only know that some disk problems prevented me from installing ubuntu 13.10 on this new drive (despite trying several times, it always hanged or displayed failure message). then, after adding libata.force=noncq, it just worked.

nevermind, it works correctly in kernel 3.13 (ubuntu 14.04)
