Last modified: 2006-03-07 22:16:54 UTC
Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur:
Hardware Environment: Embedded system using Power PC 405 GPR
I encountered the following issue as I hooked up the usb stick.
Some brand of stick works fine. but the others not working like below.(e.g.
Read capacity failed log... )
However all of them works fine under windows
I realized that other quys have the same experience to me.
Is there any good way to improve this symption without switching to Kernel 2.6.x
Do I have to modify some code of source files related to usb core module ?
I hope to hear good solution from you.
One thing to be fixed is that "unable to get device descriptor" log shows up
when I used the 4-port Hub.
Pls advice me
Steps to reproduce:
Some brand of memory stick can be reproduced....
I'm sorry, but this database is for 2.6 bugs only, 2.4 isn't really supported
anymore, except by distros.
And as I see you are using a distro, I suggest you contact them for support
(especially as mvista is known for shipping very patched up kernels.)
