Description Linas 2013-04-06 15:26:01 UTC
After upgrading from linux 3.7.10-1 to 3.8.4-1 xorg started crashing.

The backtraces point to radeon_drv.so I am using a Radeon HD 3600. It is also worth noting that the kernel was booted with radeon.no_wb=1 parameter.

This is a duplicate of this bug:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61182
It's not a kernel issue, it's a mesa bug with features that are only enabled with 3.8 kernels.
Comment 2 Jérôme Glisse 2013-04-24 19:00:54 UTC
Not a kernel issue follow https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61182 for resolution
Comment 3 Linas 2013-04-24 21:21:43 UTC
Are you sure it's the same issue? Because after reverting 35840ab189595b817fa8b1a1df8cc92474a7c38d in mesa I still get crashes.
