Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur: Distribution:FC4 Hardware Environment:AMD64 Software Environment: Problem Description:sometimes during starting process the usb driver produces this message : Nov 18 21:07:20 asterix kernel: usb 2-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110, mouse is still not working, if I choose another usb connector for the mouse, it works fine. Steps to reproduce: 1. start the PC 2. message appears on console 3. USB mouse is not working 4. choose another usb connector for the mouse 5. mouse is now working
What kernel version is this happening on?
As this is a Fedora kernel, please enter in this issue into the redhat bugzilla. If you can reproduce it with the normal kernel.org kernel (like 2.6.15-rc6), then please reopen this bug here and let us know.
