Processor type is an AMD Turion 64.
without ACPI, this box runs in PIC mode. with ACPI, this box runs in IOACPI mode. Likely this is a duplicate of bug 3927 and the patches there will help.
I'd agree it looks like a dup. Would the submitter please check the patch in bug #3927?
