Description Florian Sievers 2005-08-29 14:24:13 UTC
Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur: 2.6.12.5
Distribution: Debian Sarge
Hardware Environment: P3 500MHz/128MB PentiumBoard Cisco Aironet 352
Problem Description:
I can't get the Cisco Aironet card working with this kernel. I compiled it once
as a modul and after that didn's work I compiled it dirctly into the kernel.
Both didn't work anymore. The ACTIVITY LED is on without pause and the STATUS
LED isn't blinking. PCMCIA modules are compield in and also testet as module. It
works well with kernel 2.6.12.5 and I also got it working with 2.6.13-rc6.
Any suggestions?!

Steps to reproduce:
Activate PCMCIA (Yenta) and 16bit-pcmcia (didn't need this in the old kernel)
and than say 'y' or 'm' to airo_cs (pc-card version)

Hmm, I'm sorry. Have read the Changelog and found the problem. The Cisco Aironet
PCMCIA Card (module: airo_cs) depends on CONFIG_PCMCIA_IOCTL.
