A patch referencing this bug report has been merged in Linux v3.7-rc3: commit d7870af7e2e3a91b462075ec1ca669b482215187 Author: Michael Shigorin <mike@osdn.org.ua> Date: Mon Oct 22 12:18:56 2012 +0300 usb-storage: add unusual_devs entry for Casio EX-N1 digital camera
Thanks for the reminder; for the record, I've only proxied the patch but its author is Oleksandr Chumachenko <ledest/gmail.com> (chose not to bother folks upon having spotted it landing on stable series).
