I'm using this patch right now. But it has some bugs like: system hang on
Fun+F2 (turn on/off wifi) and display brightness buttons don't generate
correct events

With kernel 3.5.1 this module loads without errors about DSTS2 but hotkeys still don't work.

this bug is still present in ubuntu 13.04 beta with 3.8.0-15-generic kernel.
