Hi developers! As much as I'd like to help out with getting this issue resolved, eventually I'm going to need the rest of my Hard Drive back. I know this issue is low on the priority list, but as much as I'd like to use Linux all the time, if there is nothing to be given to me to fix this issue, I'm going to have no choice but to move on and keep using Windows 7 & 8. I'm planning on doing this within the next couple of weeks so I can get my HD back unless I get some input soon. Thanks for your understanding and I hope we can get this resolved!
As the ubuntu bug page shows, the following commit might be a fix: commit b7e383046c2c7c13ad928cd7407eafff758ddd4b Author: Zhang Rui <rui.zhang@intel.com> Date: Tue Dec 4 23:23:16 2012 +0100 ACPI : do not use Lid and Sleep button for S5 wakeup
Hi Michael, I'll close this bug as you mentioned you are not using Linux currently in ubuntu's bug page. Please feel free to re-open it once you start to use Linux again and still have this problem, thanks.
