What stress tool are you using? What sort of storage is behind the fs?
we are using FSstress test suite. am not clear with your second question...please explain
I am wondering whether you are using any sort of volume manager, or just a raw disk. Just trying to characterize your setup, to make it easier to try to reproduce this.
Its a LVM partition and i had observed this problem even with 2.6.11.5
Guys, is this bug present in 2.6.12-rc5?
I reran the test with similar test environment on 2.6.12-rc4-mm1 , what all I can say is this problem is not seen again, on retesting.
Based on the information in the bug, it seems this issue is already fixed.
