System crashes when trying to manipulate large files (> 1GB) on a Tyan S2460 using XFS file system.  Don't know about other file systems as I haven't tested them.  I use XFS almost exclusively. Haven't been able to get any debug information presently either.  Looks like the issue had been fixed up until kernel version 2.6.33 or so.  I am running 3.2.13-smp presently (two processors, 3.5GB ram, PATA hard disks) and Slackware 13.37 with Slackware-current kernel.  Maybe this isn't the correct place to report this bug??  If not, my apologies.  I'll submit a new report in the correct category if that is the case.

Hey Fred,

The best place to report a bug is on the xfs@oss.sgi.com mailing list.  This is
just fine too.  If you get an opportunity can you attach the output of 
'echo t > /proc/sysrq-trigger'?
