Messages on suspend to ram
Hardware: Toshiba Satellite L755-161 notebook
System: openSuse 12.1
When sleep (suspend to ram) of the system is called, the system gets inoperative and must be reset via power of/ power on.
With the 3.2.x kernel, suspend to ram (mostly) worked.
Tested with kernel 3.3.0-rc2. Suspend to disk now seems to work again. Bug 45652 can be set to resolved.

sorry, do you mean bug 42652 can be closed?
BTW, you mentioned that suspend to disk works again in comment 1 but your bug report is about a suspend to ram failure....
Sorry, with kernels 3.3.0-rc2 and 3.3.0-rc3 suspend to ram works again. Bug 42652 can be closed. Restore from suspend to disk still does not work.
BTW, do you have a bug report about the hibernation problem?
Resume from hibernation still fails. See
Bug 42627 - Hibernation fails to resume - Toshiba Satellite L755-161 notebook
On resume, after the stored memory has been retrieved, the nouveau driver seems to shutdown. Maybe the memory snapshot is made during shutdown of the graphics driver, so in resume the driver shuts down again ...
