Description Stefan de Konink 2011-08-18 19:40:16 UTC
When using nvram as module, modprobe nvram will not give a working /dev/nvram. The only way seems to be to compile the module inkernel. In the Powermac Platform Makefile it is explicitly mentioned a module should be seen as a compiled in kernel option.

If this is still seen in a modern kernel then please update
