I'm running Slackware 13.37 x86 and when I compiled 3.0.0 and 3.0.1 I noticed my Atheros AR9285 wifi stopped working.

I used a good working config from 2.6.36.4 that worked...

This is what lspci shows;

02:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)

Given this situation for a broken wifi I'm not sure what to submit at the moment, so please let me know...

Overlooked the new option;

Atheros ath9k PCI/PCIe bus support

Got it working now...
