dmesg

I have a Dell Latitude E4310 which has an ALPS touchpad and stick. Neither kernel nor x11 driver recognize it, but simply add it as a normal PS/2 mouse.

Please let me know what else you need

Is this still the case as of 3.2/3.4 ?

It works fine for me with 3.3.8 (read: at least I can run synclient and modify settings - not sure if *all* of them work, though).
