Description Herbert Xu 2004-05-27 04:55:38 UTC
This bug first appeared in 2.6.4. It was reported at
http://bugs.debian.org/243060 and http://bugs.debian.org/246546.

The symptom is that hotplug auto-loads both eth1394 and sbp2 which causes sbp2
to fail most of the time. Loading sbp2 manually is OK.

2.6.3 and earlier kernels didn't have the data for eth1394 to be auto-loaded so
they aren't affected.

The two reports at bugs.debian.org seem to include several different problems.
Can the one symptom which matches the Summary still be reproduced with newer
kernels? (With eth1394 enabled, sbp2 failed to log in, while it worked with
eth1394 disabled.)
