Description Ozan Caglayan 2011-01-25 06:35:39 UTC
On an HP Pavilion dv2500 notebook, hp-wmi gives a backtrace. RF switch seems always blocked on rfkill output and thus wireless can not be enabled. Removing the hp-wmi module fixes the issue but the rfkill switch is not handled anymore.

Relevant outputs are attached.

// Add acpi-bugzilla to CC list

Well besides this crash I have 2 other reports which this hp-wmi soft blocks the WLAN devices regardless of the rfkill switch state.
