Description Louis 2010-12-23 10:34:03 UTC
On a HP Envy 17 laptop, I'm observing an intermittent high pitch noise (acoustic-electronic) when the btusb module is loaded. This behavior is not present when kernel is configured without bluetooth support.

This issue is present in kernels > 2.6.32 and it's not a regression.
Please let me know the information that you need, if needed I can also try to record with a microphone the noise.

Same bug for with the same computer (HP Envy 17). When I activate the bluetooth, I have same noise. It's very low and I think it come near from the subwoofer.

If its hardware noise then it's not something the software can do anything about
