Well, I got it to work sort-off in a funky way using toslink input volume in
2.5.47-bk5

(seems the driver is severily confused about what control does what ; alsaplayer
will dead refuse to use the alsa interface and will go for the oss emulation
instead)

Anyway, I've got sound now, that's what I care most about. Getting the driver
behave in a sane way will wait alsa developper interest.
