Description Tobias 2010-11-10 21:59:32 UTC
I am getting this i915 error and at the same time wifi breaks. rmmod/modprobe fixes wifi issue. No visible effects of the drm error.

Comment 1 Chris Wilson 2010-11-11 00:40:17 UTC
The kernel is warning about a userspace bug. It marked the memory as purgeable and then proceeded to use it without checking that the buffer still existed.
Comment 2 Florian Mickler 2010-11-30 11:54:13 UTC
Chris, should this be closed then?
Comment 3 Chris Wilson 2010-11-30 12:11:47 UTC
Yes, it's being tracked in https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31419 so the report will not be lost.
