File containing the dmesg output relevant to the faulty audio driver

Having rolled back to an older kernel in the 6.6.45-lts this issue does not arise and currently still on that version while waiting for the resolution of this bug.

When updating to the most recent lts kernel 6.6.50-1 on Arch Linux, there is an error in the snd_soc_link_prepare driver that occur, which results in my built-in speakers unable to be registered by the system. I provided the relevant dmesg output in the attached file showing the output.

I have ensured that the proper sound card profile was active and concluded that a profile called "HiFi" under the appropriate sound card that originally supported my speakers in earlier kernel versions is now gone, with only the "pro-audio" profile remaining.

Attempting to get it to work under that profile, I have mixed and matched each source and sink to no luck at acquiring sound. Bluetooth headphones still work fine on the current lts kernel. I made sure on one of my rollbacks to only update the kernel with nothing else to confirm that it is a potential issue with the kernel and not just simply pipewire or pulseaudio. I also tested with doing a system update updating everything to the same result.

The sound system to recognize my internal speakers utilizes ACP profiles.

Hope this information helps!

not my area of expertise, but looks like it's the same issue as
https://lore.kernel.org/all/20240910124009.10183-1-peter.ujfalusi@linux.intel.com/

a fix is in the works, but it will take a few days

Appreciate the reply!

Sounds good.

It looks like the audio issue has already been fixed in the current Arch Kernel. It seems like the LTS is still having some issues but that was as of earlier this morning.

Just using the current Arch kernel instead of LTS in the meantime.
