Description Axel Braun 2024-05-30 08:43:37 UTC
As recommended in https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1223194, reporting this to kernel.org.
Please see above for details.
It appears in the 6.8 and 6.9 series, most likely already in 6.7
I tested with kernel 6.6.11 where I could net see the mentioned behaviour, so it may be a regression

Would be really great if you could perform regression testing:

https://docs.kernel.org/admin-guide/bug-bisect.html

Just make sure you've pinpointed the working kernel version first.

If 6.7 was fine and 6.8 is not then it might be duplicate of Bug 218881 (see also: https://lore.kernel.org/all/7f4a777b-88f6-4429-b168-d1337d291386@yahoo.de/ )
Comment 3 Axel Braun 2024-06-01 08:29:05 UTC
Thanks for the hint, Thorsten.
I tested 6.6 and currently on 6.7, up to now no issues.
Will continue testing and report back
Comment 4 Axel Braun 2024-06-03 08:24:59 UTC
Hi,
tested 6.7 and 6.8 in between, the issue was introduced with kernel 6.8.
So, quite likely that this bug is double to #218881
