machine configuration

After installing the kernel 6.7.6.arch1-1-x86_64, I'm unable to control the screen brightness (I can move the slider but nothing happens)
and there are no wifi devices available.

Comment 2 Maurizio Ferreira 2024-02-27 08:08:57 UTC
the machine configuration reports kernel 6.7.5 because it was made after a rollback to a previous working kernel.
The boot messages are relative to the not working 6.7.6 kernel.

For display brightness you probably want to file a bug report here:

https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/intel/-/issues

For WiFi breakage regression testing is advised:

https://docs.kernel.org/admin-guide/bug-bisect.html

The way this bug report is filed, it's unactionable.

Please file a bug report in the AMDGPU bug tracker and a new one for your WiFi.
