Description ollierazdow 2023-06-21 07:07:12 UTC
I have digital noise in the audio output which only resolves if I run the command sudo hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x1d SET_PIN_WIDGET_CONTROL 0x0

I am on a Lenovo X1 Nano with an Intel 1160G7 cpu and Realtek ACL287 audio codec. I am running Linux Mint 21.1, I have tried kernels 5.15, 5.19 and 6.1.32, but the problem is the same for each.

The same issue is mentioned here
https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/project/ubuntu-kernel/patch/20190222103307.9691-4-hui.wang@canonical.com/
but it seems to not work for my hardware, so I wonder if the patch only applied to ALC285 and not ALC287.
