kernel crash when I reboot system

After compile and install the kernel from the "6.2.2" version to the "6.2.3" version, when I restart my system the kernel crashes, without completing the reboot action.

To restart the system I have to use the REISUB kernel sequence.

The previous version 6.2.2 worked well.

I attach a photo of the bug.

Thanks,
Antonio

Could you please bisect?

Sorry but I can't try the bisect because I use the kernel on a working machine. So I immediately went back to the previous version.

However, I noticed that the bug occurs only on royal hardware, virtual machines do not seem to be interested.

I'm setting NEEDINFO for this bug because bisecting is the only way to move forward unless someone else encounters this bug as well.

Please test 6.2.5 as well.

You want to do that first, they fixed a bug that on a quick look might cause the issue you see.
Comment 6 Antonio 2023-03-12 08:57:30 UTC
kernel 6.2.5 solves the bug for me (also the Kernel 6.2.4 is ok)
Comment 7 Antonio 2023-03-14 10:00:08 UTC
Kernel 6.2.6 is also ok
