Hello,

I just installed fedora 37 on an iMac 18,3 and there is no sound.

in settings/sound/
- the selected output device is Dummy output and there is no other choice.
- there is no input.

I asked about this there https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/734192/no-sound-on-an-imac-27-5k-2017-on-linux and I was pointed to report a bug here on kernel.org.

From the search results, I see this a [known issue](https://duckduckgo.com/?q=imac+2017+linux+no+sound) but I didn't find a solution.

[This topic](https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=277990) seems to be similar, but it points to [this kernel module](https://github.com/egorenar/snd-hda-codec-cs8409) which I don't know how to use.

Thank you

The audio output and the internal speakers work after installing this module : https://github.com/egorenar/snd-hda-codec-cs8409.

Also, the mic input is now visible in the system settings but it still doesn't work.
