An example of distorted audio

Originally reported to pipewire: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/issues/2995

I am not familiar with exactly how pipewire probe devices. But if I set its "probe-rate" to 48000, I got distorted audio from the device, both input and output. If I set the probe-rate to 44100, then everything works normally. Once it's working, if I again change probe-rate to 48000 and restart pipewire, it stays working.

An example of the audio distortion is attached. Looking at the waveform, it looks like part of the samples are dropped and replaced with 0?

This is noticed because pipewire changed its default probe-rate to 48000, twice at version 0.3.58 and 0.3.61
