A friend of mine tried to use his JBL Live 660NC headset on arch linux, the sound works great, but he just can't use the microphone (not even selectable as an output).

Output of lspci and lsusb:

Bluetooth has two major audio profiles:

* High Fidelity Playback (only for playing audio, mic is not available)
* Headset Head Unit (horrible audio quality, only suitable for making calls, mic is available)

Looks like you're using the first and naturally there will be no microphone available.
