Description Andrew M 2022-05-06 15:24:19 UTC
Upon upgrade to Kernel 5.15.36 (from 5.15.35), resuming from suspend causes the system to hang (and blank screen). The issue is also present in 5.15.37.

I have bisected the Kernel between the two versions and identified 232541989a1abbcf8946f3be2200a854db5bd62b as the problematic commit; related bug seems to be https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215798. Reverting that commit atop 5.15.36 resolves the issue.

Hardware is a TRX40 motherboard with Aquantia AQC111 ethernet controller (ID 1d6a:11b1).

Unfortunately I do not have much useful logs to provide as no logs are written after the suspend occurs.
