Philips WeCall USB Speaker AECS7000/00 (actually made by Woox Innovations). This is a mono speaker and mic meant for conference calls and such. Fedora 34 Beta (same thing happens with F33 and F32). It also happens on multiple computers. oops duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 199905 ***
Actually I should not have closed it. This issue is current, the other issue was resolved.
Please test with the raw ALSA API via speaker-test or aplay at first. The cannot set freq message should be harmless. It tries at most three times, and gives up for the rest.
