I have a HP laptop with AMD ryzen 5800u APU.
I can't suspend the laptop. When I try to suspend, after screen turn off, the fan run crazy then it just turn off. I have to boot from beginning.
I'm using ubuntu 20.04 with the 5.11.11 kernel from https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/

There are a lot of patches that are needed for this, everything identified thus far is targeted toward 5.14. A community member has a kernel with all of them backported to 5.13 if you would like to try sooner.

This is sorted in 5.15 and all later kernels, this issue can be closed.
