The bluetooth card of HP Envy 17, Broadcom coorporation 4353 (wifi+bluetooth) emits an intermittent high pitch noise, amplified when the CPU is idle, when the bluetooth kernel module is activated. On Windows 7 it doesn't produce any kind of noise. Deactivating bluetooth kernel module removes the noise. Maybe a circuit resonance generated by a wrong bluetooth search frequency/alimentation? Tested on kernels 2.6.34 and 2.6.35.
This issue starts when module btusb is enabled. Could you please set component: driver->bluetooth. Thanks.
