Created attachment 290825 [details] Log Hi , problem is like i described at summary section. After a few minutes of gaming or any other heavy task , if laptop lid is closed device just shuts itself down. Doesn't happen if lid is open. I've grabbed journalctl -b -1 log and attached it to report.
I've also tried with more up to date kernel (5.7) and result is the same. I'll add new journalctl log and will provide the bios version i'm using.

Ağu 10 22:09:19 asus-FX553VD kernel: mce: CPU1: Package temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (total events = 69748) Ağu 10 22:09:19 asus-FX553VD kernel: mce: CPU5: Package temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (total events = 69756) Ağu 10 22:09:19 asus-FX553VD kernel: mce: CPU6: Package temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (total events = 69753) do you see similar message when lid is opened? it is possible that closing the lid makes it hard to cool and results in system overheating during heavy workload.
Bug closed as there is no response from the bug reporter. Please feel free to reopen it if the problem still exists in latest upstream kernel.

I am facing the same issue the op reported on linux kernel 5.12.2. When the lid is closed and connected to HDMI, the laptop just restarts randomly with the log : levis-desktop kernel: asus_wmi: Unknown key 6d pressed But honestly, I cannot call it a real - heavy load. But when not connected to HDMI, it even built me a custom ROM for my phone without getting throttled.
