I have laptop with Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U CPU which normally operates at 1.60GHz. But somehow while compilation or any other activities that requires high cpu usage frequency drops to 900 MHz or lower, without overheat issues. Max temperature I had per core is 51 degree Celsius.

Throttling was applied by BIOS.
