Description john terragon 2020-03-16 17:29:04 UTC
In a machine with 64GB of ram and no swap the oom killer starts without a reason (I've seen it start with more than 30GB of free ram). This is particularly annoying because it seems to choose always the X server.

This does not happen if I create, say, a 3GB /dev/ram0 ramdisk and use it as swap.
